Successful Management of Tropical Soda Apple
Tropical soda apple (TSA) is a very invasive weed species in the southeast part of the US. It has been successfully controlled using Contact Organics Weed Terminator 20 & Boost and also Contact BioSolutions FireHawk, both soil friendly bioherbicides. When the first trials were conducted on tropical soda apple (TSA) in Southwest Georgia, it was discovered that our products had a diminishing effect on the seeds that were forming on more mature plants that were sprayed. As a result we commissioned Dr. Robert Kremer at the University of Missouri conducted a seed germination study on tropical soda apple seeds.
