Contact BioSolutions was originally named Contact Organics. Contact BioSolutions is an environmental technology company. We are committed to provide soil friendly weed control and vegetation management products.
Contact Organics PTY LTD was formed in Australia in 2015. The focus and objective of this new entity was to continue the use of cutting edge technology that had successfully utilized for the development of high quality human supplements. Contact Organics' founders wanted to develop a consistently effective contact herbicide that did not have an adverse effect on the soil or the environment. The formulations that have been developed, combined organic acids, natural oils, and the right wetting agent and emulsifier package to enable desiccation of weeds and unwanted vegetation. The cutting edge technology that was been developed 30 years prior for providing premium quality nutrition supplements for humans, was retrofitted to produce the desired products for the natural weed control sector. The first generation products in Australia were known as Home Safe, Local Safe, and Weed Safe. When the company began operations in the United States, the name Weed Terminator 20 was given to the product due to EPA's refusal to allow the use of the word "safe" in any pesticide product. With countless applications, trial and error over a period of years, the product that we have today is called FireHawk. FireHawk Bioherbicide is an unusual product. Unusual in the fact that it enables the elimination of unwanted weeds and plant species while simultaneously improving the biological diversity in the soil. In early 2024, the name of the company was changed from Contact Organics to Contact BioSolutions. This is the reason why you will see some crossover in the in the comments, signage, and pictures displayed on our website
